The poncho you made for my adult daughter is beautiful! The variegated yarn she chose with brown, green, gold, and rose and the style you created are like being wrapped in a cocoon of soft warmth! Using the block pattern with the rose border, really accents the other colors. The scalloped edges along the bottom had a feminine touch. I have to admit, I tried it on and loved the feel of it - it just engulfed me with warmth. The extra little clutch you added was a bonus. What a great idea - using the same yarn as the poncho and making a clutch that is big enough to be useful for all the things she carries. I especially liked the idea that you didn't put a button on to close the clutch - that is left up to the recipient's style, interest or whim! Again, I'm so grateful for the poncho and clutch - what an endearing gift that is not only useful for providing warmth, but will get rave reviews when our daughter wears it!

I ordered a baby blanket as a gift to bring to a friend's baby shower. But, my husband opened the box when it came. He exclaimed, "There is no way we are going to give this away. I ordered a black and white throw from Butterfly Knitting. Becky called me to discuss it and I told her I just wanted something basic, no frills or anything like that. It was everything I asked for.
